Traditional-Style White Bread

Ingredients: |
1 cup and 2 tbsp (9 oz total) of hot water (115-125 degrees) |
2 tbsp canola or vegetable oil |
2 tbsp sugar |
1 tsp salt |
3 cups bread machine flour |
5 tsp bread machine yeast |
Directions: |
1) Place ingredients into the bread pan in the following order: water, oil, sugar, salt and flour. |
2) With finger, make a small indentation on one side of the flour. Add yeast to indentation, make sure it doesn’t come into contact with the liquid ingredients. |
3) Insert bread pan into bread maker. |
4) Press the menu button until the “ExpressBake†program is selected. |
5) Press the Start button. |
